This morning Michael suggested to us to go explore Brooklyn.
Of course the first thing that came to our mind was how we got stuck there on
Friday night waiting for the train to come. But we decided to go and we HAD SO
MUCH FUN!
Brooklyn and Williamsburg is known to be a real hipster
area. So kiker and I naturally fit the part. HA.
But we serisoulsy had so much fun visiting all the vintage
shops and seeing all sorts of people. The really nice thing was that it was super
quiet (unlike our neighborhood) and you
could actually see the sky instead of skyscrapers.
Here are some of our good finds!
Hanging Christmas trees under a highway.
A cool sign.
Picnic suitcase (I wonder who has eaten off that silverware)
A cool car
The Bat Mobile
A new hat for Laura
duck in a cage for sale for 40 dollars
Cute Elementary School
Art studio (Yes, those are drinking straws)
A chocolate store that Michael told us about
and of course they had all the golden tickets!
Cool book store.
Awesome view of Manhattan
Thanks Michael for the idea! We'll be back!
