Meet Brooklyn Duran-Kiker

In New York City everyone just throws their Christmas tress on the street for them to be recycled. So naturally there are piles of them and its kinda sad to know that my favorite time of year has passed.

Well on our adventure to Brooklyn we were walking back from the East River we saw a pile of Christmas trees. One in particular had a stand and was about 3 feet tall and in PERFECT condition. Kiker loved it so much she decided she wanted to take it home. Yes take it home. I of course had no objections, cause I think the Christmas season should be longer. So we adopted a tree (our pet) and named her Brooklyn Duran- Kiker! Isn’t she lovely!

 She was taken all the way from Brooklyn by Laura to our house. 

She had her first subway ride 

and also got to see all the people in their underwear as today was pant-less day on the Subway.
